Cyber Incident Planning & Response [ENG]

March 29

90% of large organisation had a security breach, up 81% from a year ago. Organisations continue to suffer from external and internal attacks yet Cyber Incident Management is an afterthought in most companies. It is likely that most organisations will experience some form of security incident that will require an immediate and measured response.
This course will enable you to prepare a defined and managed approach when responding to a breach or attack of an information asset which affects the confidentiality, integrity or availability of your data. The content is intended for senior management and business executives who wish to gain a better understanding of incident response or are responsible for helping organizations plan and prepare for potential cyber threats and effectively deal with actual cyber-attacks. This is not a technical course therefore there are no prerequisites.
The course is aimed at Business Executives, Middle to senior managers, Auditors, IT Managers/Directors, and other non-technical individuals who may have to plan and respond to a cyber attack. The course ensures managers and business leaders understand all the nuances of what to do before, during and after a cyber attack. It covers topics from attack and defence scenarios through to PR responses. Following the course the delegates will be able to develop and implement their own response plans. This course will be taught by GCHQ Certified trainer, industry thought leader and experienced cyber practitioner Amar Singh Chair of ISACA’s UK Security Advisory Group.
Furthermore, this course shares some of the most up to date methods of preparing and responding to cyber attacks. We introduce attendees to intelligence led testing, a combination of traditional penetration testing and threat intelligence that will equip attendees with the necessary knowledge to respond against state-of-the-art real world attacks on critical assets and improve and test your resilience to sophisticated cyber-attack scenarios.
